This helps us understand how people in the LGBT community, women and those in non-traditional family structures are treated both across the financial services sector, and wider community in Britain, in turn informing the work we do at Emerald.

Chartered Institute of Insurers – Woman At Risk
- There are six comments that matter in a. woman’s life where she often fails to get the protection that she needs
- Only 1 in 3 18-24 year old women feel confident managing their money, as opposed to 48% of men of the same age
- Over half of women in their late 20s do not feel comfortable making decisions about their retirement, as compared to 38% of men of the same age
- The average value of an ISA held by a woman is 83% less than that of a man
